Channel 10's hit news program 'The Project' will be airing a special on PCW this Tuesday night (24/01) - The Project, Channel 10, 6pm - 7pm. Date of feature subject to change.
PCW National Championship - A huge question mark
The status of the PCW National Championship title is unknown after Shane Hero released the following statement on Sunday night.
To whom it may concern,
On Saturday January 14th 2012, current PCW National Champion Danny Psycho was found brutally beaten shortly after our live event in Ballarat concluded. Danny was immediately taken to hospital where he today remains as the process of recovery before rehabilitation takes place.
Unfortunately for Danny, all PCW champions are required to defend their titles at least once every 100 days without exception. It deeply saddens me to inform our loyal PCW community that doctors have this evening advised that they see it extremely unlikely that Danny will receive a medical clearance for at least six months.
I wish Danny a speedy recovery. Moving on to more important matters, the show must go on and as commissioner I have made a very difficult decision regarding the status of the PCW National Championship. It is in our best interests that all champions are capable to wrestle, and it is my intention to ensure this is the case.
This Saturday night (28/01) at PCW Slam in Hallam, for the first time in the history of PCW, we will be holding an official inauguration ceremony where I will be naming an interim PCW National Champion. I have made my decision on who will be champion; and although I will not be announcing who this is prior to PCW Slam, I can confirm it is not a current PCW Tag-Team, PCW Slam or PCW State champion.
